Carolina Schottland

Carolina Schottland joined Zanck, Coen, Wright & Saladin, PC, in 2013 and concentrates her practice in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and general civil litigation. She is committed to representing clients with respect, integrity, and honesty while advocating for fair outcomes and practical resolutions that make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Carolina ensures clients can communicate comfortably and clearly understand every aspect of their case. She is committed to making the legal process accessible and supportive, particularly for individuals who feel more confident speaking in their native language.

Carolina has substantial experience handling trials, motions, and hearings in McHenry County courts, as well as matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Her courtroom experience reflects a practical, prepared approach to advocacy, whether resolving disputes through negotiation or presenting a case at hearing.

In addition to her practice, Carolina serves as an adjunct professor at McHenry County College, where she teaches Business Law and Business Ethics. She is also certified as a judge for municipal administrative proceedings and a Trustee for the Village of Round Lake.

Carolina and her husband live in Round Lake, Illinois.
